I was born in 1967 in the small town of Lampertheim, Hesse, Germany.

Since my father was working abroad I spent my primary school years partially in Constantine, Algeria as well as Lampertheim and Wuppertal in Germany. Secondary schooling took place in the „Gesamtschule Schulzentrum Süd“ and „Realschule Helmholtz“, both in Wuppertal. I graduated with a vocational extension certificate.

After finishing school it was my dream to work as a book binder using traditional methods of production. Unfortunately there was no opportunity to study that in my former home town so I decided to become a pre-school teacher instead. But right after starting a year long mandatory internship in that occupational area I quickly had to admit to myself that this would not fulfill me.

My actual professional path began shortly later by starting an internship at the back then newly founded advertising agency BOROS where I learned the basic skills of media design and desktop publishing. Next to that I jobbed in market research conducting interviews in Wuppertal and Dusseldorf.

In 1991 I moved to Berlin and started working in the prepress departments of various companies. I also gave lessons on how to work with Apple computers as wells as word processing and designing programs at a community college.

From 1994 to 1997 I was working as a senior staff member at the advertising department of a german company specialized in microwave components where I was responsible for the company's corporate design, the optimization of workflows, the design of internal forms for order recording and the preparation for the company's trade fair activities.

In 1998 I took a sabbatical, traveled through Europe and visited many people in different countries whom I knew from the still new Internet. I used the nowadays so-called social media to get to know and meet people from different cultures.

Afterwards I worked as a freelancer again for small companies and designed internet presences.

In 2001 I packed my bags and said Goodbye Berlin, moving on to Cologne.

I attented an advanced training to deepen my knowledge concerning information technologie in general and internet design in particular. Since it was only the beginning of the Digital Revolution I nevertheless stayed in the print and paper business for the next couple of years and worked in several companies designing ad campaigns and packagings.

Next to my professional career I focused on various passions: digital image processing, illustrations, T-shirt printing, digital photography or drawing doodles.

In June 2015 I finally took my courage in both hands and started my own business!
